All-You-Can-Eat Hotpot Buffet In Sengkang Starting At $18.90++: Paradise Hotpot

If you’re craving Beauty In The Pot but don’t have the funds to support it (we empathise), there’s an equally worthwhile option available! Paradise Hotpot in Sengkang is offering a hotpot buffet starting at $18.90++ per pax that’s satisfying enough to hit those cravings.

Paradise Hotpot Buffet Menu

Paradise Hotpot is under the same parent company as Beauty In The Pot – Paradise Group – so you can expect similar quality ingredients, just at a smaller scale.

There’s a Value Set (from $18.90 on weekdays, $21.90 on weekends) and Premium Set (from $24.99 on weekdays, $27.90 on weekends). The Premium Set includes soup base options and premium meat cuts. Here’s a full look at the prices:

For soup bases, there’s everything from Spicy Szechuan to Herbal Chicken, each with a unique flavour base. Each person gets their own pot, so you can try different flavours if you’re with friends!

The ingredient list spans over 60 items, ranging from prawn paste to fatty pork. You can also opt for hot sides like Fries, Spam Fries and more! We got to try the Premium Set and we feel that it’s worth the upgrade for the selection.

The buffet also entitles you to a DIY sauce bar, free flow drinks and the secret star item – free-flow Lu Rou Fan!

What We Ordered

For ingredients, we got the Sliced Beef and Kurobuta Pork. Both came in thin slices with a good amount of fat and did not have any gaminess. The Teochew Fish Paste was also quite good, tasting similar to a fishball!

We also got vegetables to balance the meal and the popular Bean Curd Skin to soak up all the broth. The amount per serving is well-portioned so you can pace yourself accordingly.

Hot Sides

The Fried Radish Cake was memorable, with a crisp exterior and an enjoyable fragrance from the radish. For something sweet and comforting, get the Crisp-Fried Mantou with Condensed Milk

We also quite liked the Lu Rou Fan. It was fatty but flavourful, pairing great with rice. This was a steal for free-flow meals! It’s a good option to fill yourself up or as a finisher to your meal.

Teochew Style Soup Base

The first broth we tried was the Teochew Style Soup Base. It was milky and sweet, with a strong parsley taste (which might be a turn-off to some). There was also no obvious MSG taste, which made it easy to finish.

Spicy Szechuan Soup Base

Despite its fiery red colour, the Spicy Szechuan Soup Base wasn’t overbearingly spicy. It had a good kick at the back of the throat and an enjoyable fragrance from the seasonings. A big plus is that it wasn’t too oily or salty!

With Paradise Hotpot, you can enjoy the same hotpot experience at a (relatively) lower price! The ingredient selection is smaller but we found that the quality of their ingredients did not decrease. Definitely worth a treat-yourself dinner!
