Noci Pasta Bar: Aesthetic Restaurant in Suntec Serving Up Handmade Fresh Pasta & Pizzas

Noci Pasta Bar is not something I would have expected in a shopping mall. From aesthetics to food, this spot is undoubtedly going to be the next hot spot for pasta lovers.

Pasta Restaurant in Singapore

Tucked away in a corner of Suntec City Mall, right beside the popular LONGJING Restaurant, is Noci Pasta Bar. The Korean-owned restaurant is part of the Goldmoon Group, which is behind popular spots like Seoul Noodle Shop, Tonshou and the newly opened Wonderful Bapsang in the other corner of Suntec.

Maybe it’s because it’s opened by Koreans, but the space is gorgeous. It has everything you’d want: a minimalistic aesthetic paired with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in natural light. I swear I saw something like this in Korea before.

Handmade Pasta & Pizza Dough

Near the entrance is also a small corner where diners can watch the staff make their pasta and pizza dough from scratch. They use a lot of quality ingredients, which are scattered across the workstation.

Almost all the pasta dishes here use freshly made pasta, even the ravioli!

While the place is Korean-owned, the menu here is entirely Italian, split into sections like Antipasti, Primi, and Pizzetta. It doesn’t feature Korean fusion dishes like Gochujang Pasta etc.

What you’ll find are items like Carbonara ($24), Bottarga ($28), Ravioli ($25) and Mushroom Risotto ($23), just to name a few out of the 10 pasta dishes.

For pizzas, they have items like a Jamon e Arugula ($23), Quattro Formaggi ($21), Salsiccia ($21) and Margherita ($19). You can also add hazelnut butter to the pizzas, or upgrade to a parmesan-crusted one for $2, respectively.

What We Tried At Noci Pasta Bar

For starters, I got the Caesar Salad ($14), a classic dish featuring gem lettuce, anchovies, green olives, and Caesar dressing. It was presented beautifully and executed well.

As for the pastas, I tried the Cacio e Pepe ($19), which uses fresh tajarin pasta, a type that contains more egg yolks than usual. The texture of the pasta was precisely how I liked it, coming with a nice bite and chew. As for the flavour of the Cacio e Pepe, it was peppery, and I loved the surprise burst of nuttiness from the pistachios now and then. I only wished it were slightly saucier.

The Truffle White Ragu ($27) was my favourite, which also featured the fresh tajarin pasta. It was well-balanced, with a nice hint of truffle that wasn’t too overpowering.

Noci Pasta Bar also seems to have two mains, like the Chuck Flap Tail Steak ($53) and Lemon Butter Chicken ($34), for those who want a bit more protein.

I don’t think what I tried is the most accurate representation of what Noci Pasta Bar envisions itself to be, but it’s good enough for me to want to come back and try their other dishes, especially the other pasta types.

The space makes one want to come back, just to soak in the vibes.
