MUJI Opens Outlet In Tanjong Pagar, With Retail Store & MUJI Cafe

Beloved Japanese lifestyle brand MUJI has opened a new outlet in 100AM mall in Tanjong Pagar!

Familiar Retail Space

The outlet space is quite big and spans 1,050 sqm.

It offers the same recognisable lineup of MUJI goods, ranging from stationary, storage solutions and clothing.

Café&Meal MUJI is at the side of the store with a spacious layout that can sit up to 70 people, with a display area so you can see the dishes available.

Café&Meal MUJI Menu

The menu rotation includes over 10 dishes, both cold and hot! The full menu is available on their website

Some dishes include Chicken Nanban with Cauliflower Egg Mayo, Kohi Pork & King Oyster Mushroom and a Smoked Duck, Roasted Peach and Red Apple Salad.

To order, you can choose a Deli Set meal that comes with rice, soup and a number of dishes starting at $13.80

They also have drinks including a Red Shiso Soda ($7.90), Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Chocolate ($6.50) and Iced Matcha Latte ($6.50).

4 Deli Set

The four dishes, clockwise from top: Prawn Couscous Salad with Yuzu-sesame Dressing; Roasted Butternut Squash, Sweet Purple Potato & Kale Salad, Sakura Chicken with Curry Miso and Dried Chilli and Golden Sesame Crusted Salmon, Shoyu Sesame Leek Sauce

We got to try the 4 Deli Set ($19.80) inclusive of four savoury dishes (two hot and two cold) with 16 Grain rice and a Cumin Carrot soup.

You can also opt for White Rice or Bread and Miso Soup.

The Prawn Couscous Salad with Yuzu-sesame Dressing was a favourite of ours, with the tangy dressing!

Their popular Sakura Chicken with Curry Miso and Dried Chilli had a savoury, umami flavour from the miso. The chicken was also tender and paired great with rice.

Iced Houjicha Passionfruit Tea

For drinks, we tried the Iced Houjicha Passionfruit Tea ($6.90).  This was refreshing and not too sweet, with the tea fragrance from the houjicha.

Desserts

Clockwise from top: Hokkaido Burnt Cheesecake, Guanaja Hazelnut Mousse Cake, Lemon Yuzu Tart and Strawberry Hokkaido Cheese Roll (contains alcohol)

They also offer an assortment of desserts!

Our favourite was the Guanaja Hazelnut Mousse Cake ($8.90) with a layer of crunchy chocolate pearls and a distinct hazelnut flavour.

If you prefer something fruity, you can try the Lemon Yuzu Tart ($8.90) instead with a tangy lemon curd.

Anniversary Lucky Draw

This new outlet also happens to mark MUJI’s 20th anniversary in Singapore!

To celebrate, they are hosting a lucky draw till 26 April 2023 (23:59) where you can win attractive prizes including a reclining sofa set, luggage and MUJI gift cards.
