Milksha Launches Taiwanese Bento Boxes From Only $4.90, Items Like Red Yeast Fried Chicken

Taiwanese milk tea brand Milksha has officially launched a series of Bento Boxes that you can enjoy with their drinks! The bento box includes familiar Taiwanese flavours like fried chicken and braised pork for a hearty and fuss-free meal.

Milksha Taiwanese Bento Box

There are over 5 flavour options available to choose from, so you’re sure to be spoilt for choice. Each bento comes with rice, braised egg, vegetables and even Taiwanese sausage so you’re getting a full meal!

Braised Minced Pork Bento

The options include Braised Minced Pork Bento ($4.90), braised over 12 hours in the classic soy sauce gravy. The saltiness from the preserved vegetables helps cut through the fattiness of the meat.

Braised Pork Belly and Crispy Salted Chicken Duo Bento

For a classic option, there’s also the Taiwan Spicy Fried Chicken Bento ($6.90) with chicken marinated in fermented bean curd for a unique umami and slight spice. You can also have this fried chicken in the Braised Pork Belly and Crispy Salted Chicken Duo Bento ($8.90), with a hefty chunk of tender braised pork!

Red Yeast Pork Chop Bento 紅糟肉

There’s also the Red Yeast Pork Chop Bento 紅糟肉 ($6.90) featuring a pork chop marinated in a special red wine for extra tenderness and unique flavour. Other options include the Fried Salmon Bento ($8.90), Braised Drumstick Bento ($6.90) and Fried Salmon & Crispy Salted Chicken Duo Bento ($10.90).

Fried Oyster Mushroom

There are also sides to enjoy like the Fried Oyster Mushroom ($4), Squid Ink Cuttlefish Sausage ($3.80) and Taro-filled Sweet Potato Ball ($3/6 pieces).

Doing Good For The Community

For the month of June, Milksha will donate 30 cents to Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund for every item purchased. This will help children from low-income families, so you’re doing some good with each purchase!

Milksha New Food Options

The Taiwanese bento boxes and sides are available at all Milksha outlets, so grab one with your milk tea order!
