Lucine by LUNA- Modern Minimalistic Design

Lucine by LUNA designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, is bathed in natural sunlight, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior is simple yet modern, with monochromatic marble tables and hanging lights.

The focal point of the space is the artistic centrepiece, a display of blush-pink paper flowers and botanicals crafted by Singaporean paper artist Pei Li, evoking the feel of a glasshouse.

Lucine by Luna Menu

Lucine by Luna offers a diverse menu that extends beyond their signature desserts, featuring exclusive items available only at the outlet.

Enjoy a variety of toasted sandwiches such as Grilled Cheese ($12.90), Spam & Cheese ($10.90), and Hamburg Steak ($13.90), each served with a side of mixed greens.

For a lighter option, try their Sous Vide Chicken Salad ($12.90) or Eggplant Salad ($12.90). Complement your meal with sides like the Mushroom Soup ($8.90), made with a blend of shiitake, oyster, shimeji, and porcini mushrooms.

Their dessert selection includes cakes like Orh Nee ($8.50) and tarts like Melon Berry ($8.50) and Pistachio Hazelnut ($8.80).

Pair your food with drinks from their coffee menu, featuring options like Dirty Coffee ($8), Salted Caramel Americano ($8.50), and Toffee Nut Latte (Hot $6.50, Iced $7.50).

For non-caffeinated choices, they offer Hazelnut Chocolate (Hot $6.50, Iced $7.50) and Honey Passionfruit Soda ($7.50).

Savoury

Tofu Katsu

The Tofu Katsu ($10.90) was a satisfying vegetarian take on a Japanese classic. The crispy, golden-brown exterior encased a tender tofu cutlet with a slightly firm, meat-like texture. It’s complemented by mildly spicy sriracha mayo and lightly toasted bread, making for a well-balanced and flavourful dish.

All Day Breakfast

The All Day Breakfast ($8.90) featured scrambled eggs and a slice of toasted sourdough that was crisp on the outside with a soft, chewy inside. For a heartier meal, you can add extras like tater tots, sautéed garlic mushrooms, or creamed spinach, starting from just $2 onward.

Sous Vide Chicken Salad

The Sous Vide Chicken Salad ($12.90) was a light and refreshing dish, filled with crispy fresh vegetables tossed in an Italian herb dressing. The chicken breast was slightly dry for our liking, but it was well-marinated with herbs and spices.

Sweets

From Left: Pistachio Roulade, Blossom, Citrus Tart

Pistachio Roulade

The Pistachio Roulade ($8.80) had a moist and dense pistachio chiffon sponge, filled with a rich pistachio cream. The pistachio flavour was pronounced, but not overpowering, balanced by a subtle tartness from the raspberry compote.

Blossom

The Blossom ($8.50) featured a light and slightly creamy strawberry elderflower yoghurt mousse, delivering a refreshing and subtle sweetness. The feuilletine crunch added a satisfying crunchy texture, reminiscent of a strawberry marshmallow, but without any artificial aftertaste.

Citrus tart

The Citrus Tart ($8.50) had a well-constructed base with zesty lime curd, orange confit, and a light vanilla sponge. The lime curd provided a vibrant tanginess that was perfectly balanced by the sweet and slightly acidic notes of the orange confit.

Drinks

Left: Black Sesame Latte Right: Tiramisu Latte

Black Sesame Latte

While we enjoyed the Black Sesame Latte ($8.50) It could benefit from a stronger black sesame flavour as it was slightly subdued, so it could be more pronounced to have a nuttier flavour.

Tiramisu Latte

The Tiramisu Latte ($8.50) featured a creamy base with a hint of coffee, complemented by a ladyfingers coated in a layer of sugar. The ladyfingers soaked up the latte, which made the latte feel like a dessert and a drink all in one.
