Little Farms Table Menu

Little Farms Table is a restaurant offering a menu of meticulously handcrafted dishes, all made from scratch and free from MSG, artificial flavourings, colourings, or preservatives.

Breakfast is served until 2pm, featuring delicious options like Shakshuka ($20) and an Organic Acai Bowl ($18). The main course selections include the Avocado, Quinoa, and Feta Bowl ($22) or the Smashed Burger ($26).

The drink selection is extensive, with refreshing options like Grapefruit and Hibiscus Lemonade ($9) and a variety of coffees, including Macchiato ($6) and Piccolo ($6). For the little ones, there’s a special kids’ drinks menu, boasting delightful choices such as Chocolate Banana ($9) and Berrylicious ($9).

Small Plates

From the small plates menu, we tried the Steak Tartare ($22) skillfully hand-cut from O’Connor Beef tenderloin, giving a savoury taste. It came paired with a crispy Startler Lab baguette and a side of mixed greens, which I recommend combining in one bite for a truly enjoyable flavour experience!

There was also the Chargrilled Squid with Romesco Sauce ($18), which featured springy squids that were marinated and then chargrilled for that subtle smoky taste.  The in-house-made Romesco sauce, bursting with the crunch of almonds, hazelnuts, and red capsicum, perfectly enhanced the flavours of the squid.

Akaroa Salmon

This dish quickly became one of our favourites! The salmon was well-executed, with a buttery and rich flavour. Its texture was flaky, yet it retained a moist and juicy interior.

Accompanied by a unique Mandarin orange gel, crafted from Mandarin oranges, ginger, and black pepper, it added a touch of zing to the dish.

Woodfired Grill

In the woodfire grill section, we started with the Caribbean Jerk Chicken ($30), a highly recommended dish, accompanied by sides of smooth potato puree and charred broccoli.

Thanks to seasonings like chilli padi, cinnamon, and nutmeg, the chicken was bursting with flavour. The meat was tender and moist, with the skin having a slight sweetness from a barbecue sauce glaze.

We also tried the Harissa Lamb Chops ($38), which was well-executed. The meat was tender, avoiding any overwhelming gamey taste. It was marinated overnight to absorb the full flavours and then slow-cooked with an in-house Harissa rub for a rich taste.

Vegan Banana Bread

We ended our meal with a slice of banana bread, which was delightfully moist and soft!
