Kreams Beer: It’s Always Spring At This Korean Bar Serving Fruit Flavoured Somaek

You’ve experienced Autumn in Singapore at Kreams Cafe, now experience Spring in Singapore at Kreams Beer, a Korean bar in Singapore serving fruit flavoured somaek (soju + beer) and other alcoholic beverages.

Cherry Blossoms Decoration At Kreams Beer

While Kreams cafe is covered in autumn foliage, Kreams Beer at Duxton Road is decorated with cherry blossoms. Fun Fact: Kreams Beer opened way before Kreams Café!

Besides the cherry blossoms, the place is also decorated with cute Craftholic plushies. Can imagine this place attracting a lot of couples – a date night drinking under a bed of cherry blossoms (so romantic!)

Service At Kreams Beer

The bacon chips are refillable!

The moment we sat down at our seats, the staff gave us a plate of cut fruits (watermelon, melon and grapes) and some snacks.

Free charging point for those who don’t bring portable chargers

There were also charging points provided at each table, a nice added service on their part.

What we really appreciated at Kreams Beer was the attentiveness of the service staff. Every now and then, they would walk by to check if we needed anything and top up our snacks if it looked empty.

Drinks At Kreams Beer

Besides the usual beers such as Golden Ale and Dark Stout, Kreams Beer also offers Fruity Beers and Fruity Somaeks.

While most flavours such as Yuzu, White Grape and Lychee sound like good combinations with alcohol, we weren’t really sure about the Banana flavour.

After much deliberation, we ordered the Lychee Somaek, Grapefruit Somaek, and a Peach Fruity Beer.

Lychee and Grapefruit Somaek (Small $13++, Large $16++)

Served in a cute beer glass with a moustache on it, the first thing you’d realise is that there’s a soju glass right in the middle.

The wait staff recommended drinking a few sips of the flavoured beer until it reaches the moustache mark. Then, using the metal tongs provided, take out the soju glass and continue to enjoy the drink.

The Grapefruit and Lychee flavours were really intense at the beginning but faded out after mixing with remaining beer at the bottom of the drink. We did find the drink to be on the sweeter side, which may appeal to some non-beer drinkers.

Fruity Beer (Small $12++, Large $15++, Mug $17++)

The fruity beer also comes in a range of flavours but has lesser alcohol content since there’s no soju shot. The peach flavoured one had a nice faint peach flavour, while making the beer sweeter and easier to drink.

Kreams Beer also serve some simple bites such as Popcorn Chicken and Sesame Chicken Wings, which are priced $20 and above.

Korean Pub In Singapore

Overall, Kreams Beer is a nice place to catch up with friends over some drinks. With the cherry blossoms décor, it’s a great place to snap some photos as well.

Also, if you need something to nibble on while drinking, the endless supply of snacks is definitely a plus point.

Since we visited on a Monday evening, the crowd was significantly lesser compared to Fridays and weekends. We heard the queue during these days can be quite long, so make sure to come early! Do note that they do not take reservations.
