Night Market Food Items

“ Bigger Than Face” XXL Crispy Chicken Cutlet

Ginger at PARKROYAL on Beach Road- “Bigger Than Face” XXL Crispy Chicken Cutlet

The “Bigger Than Face” XXL Crispy Chicken Cutlet was seasoned with a flavourful blend of spices. Its crispy exterior offered an addictive crunch that was both satisfying and hearty. Despite the crunchy crust, the interior remained tender and juicy.

Crispy Salted Squid

The Crispy Salted Squid had a tender texture that wasn’t overly chewy, and the seasoning was just right, without overpowering the squid’s natural flavour. The squid was coated with a light, crisp batter, that offered a satisfying crunch which we enjoyed.

Flamed Charred Marbling Beef

The Flamed Charred Marbling Beef had a satisfying chew and was free from any gaminess. We liked the addition of sautéed onions and crispy fried garlic garnished on top, which enhanced the beef’s rich flavour.

Clam Soup

Warm yourself up with their hearty Clam Soup, served pipping hot with fresh clams and broth packed with a refreshing kick of saltiness and spice that invigorated our palate and prepared us for more dishes.

Wok Fried Seafood

Braised Lobster With Bitter Gourd

The Braised Lobster with Bitter Gourd featured bitter gourd that was not overly bitter and had a pleasant sweet aftertaste. The combination of ingredients used in the dish helped to enhance the natural sweetness of the lobster. While the lobster meat was not as firm as expected, the overall combination of flavours was enjoyable and well-balanced.

Sesame Oil Crab Stew

The Sesame Oil Crab Stew could have been stewed longer for a more pronounced sesame oil’s rich aroma. The texture was generally pleasing, with the crab’s natural sweetness coming through, though it lacked the deeper flavour that a longer stewing time might have provided. Despite this, the dish remained enjoyable.

Taiwanese Classics

We tried a selection of Taiwanese classic offerings, and these are some of the few that stood out to us!

The Black Angus Beef Noodles had tender beef slices that were the highlight of this dish, complemented by the savoury broth and slightly chewy noodles. Another favourite was the Fried Oyster Mee Sua, distinguished by its plump, juicy fried oysters that added a satisfying crispiness to the silky smooth mee sua. While the Lu Rou Fan with Minced Beef topped with a braised quail egg was flavorful, we would have preferred a more generous portion of minced beef.

Free Flow Bubble Tea

You can enjoy unlimited bubble tea with black pearls here. While the pearls could have been slightly chewier, we’re always down for more bbt!

Desserts

Brown Sugar Soya Milk Cake

The dense Brown Sugar Soya Milk Cake had a pronounced brown sugar flavour, complemented by a subtle sweet milk cream. The cake wasn’t overly sweet, making it a pleasant and balanced ending to the buffet.

Caramel Mochi Yam Cup

The Caramel Mochi Yam Cup featured a chewy mochi base with slightly sweet yam paste, topped with caramel shavings, is ideal for those with a sweeter tooth.
