FIRST PRIDE Launches New Plant-Based Nuggets And Popcorn Bites

There has been an increase in the number of plant-based foods in Singapore, which is a welcome step toward a sustainable yet diversified food scene here. FIRST PRIDE, a plant-based sub-brand by Tyson Foods, has launched two new additions to their line-up of plant-based meats: Plant-Based Crispy Nuggets and Plant-Based Popcorn Bites!

Made With Trademarked Technology

All of FIRST PRIDE’s plant-based products are made with their “IntraPlant Tech” that combines soy, wheat and citrus fibers to replicate that meaty texture. This is also on top of a three-step coating process that gives that crispy outside!

Their new products, Plant-Based Crispy Nuggets ($4.25 for 170g) and Plant-Based Popcorn Bites ($4.25 for 170g) are great both as snacks or part of a main meal. The Crispy Nuggets are inspired by the classic chicken nugget and feature a light batter, which can be easily achieved with an airfryer, deep fryer or even an oven!

The Popcorn Bites feature the three-step coating for a thicker, crunchier crust that has bits of plain fried popcorn for an added bite! On top of being plant-based, FIRST PRIDE’s products are also 100% Halal-certified, high in fiber and protein and made without preservatives, flavour enhancer or trans-fat.

They also have an existing selection of products including the Plant-Based Spicy Nuggets ($4.25 for 170g) with a spiced coating for those who like an extra kick and Plant-Based Crispy Strips ($4.25 for 170g) that also make for great accompaniments. Take them out the freezer, pop them into the airfryer and you have a healthy plant-based meal!

If you’ve been looking for more plant-based or meat-free alternatives to your daily meals, give FIRST PRIDE a try! You can find them at NTUC FairPrice, Cold Storage, Giant and Redmart, or their official website
