Cuo Cuo You Yu Menu

Cuo Cuo You Yu - Overview of Some Food we Ate

Apart from their Bak Chor Mee, Cuo Cuo You Yu also offers a variety of other tempting items on their menu. These include the Yuan Yang Spinach Noodle ($4.50 soup) and porridges, such as the Specialty Pork Porridge ($4.50) and the Sliced Fish and Solefish Meatball Porridge ($5.80).

For those looking for an affordable meal, their Minced Meat Kway Teow is a great deal at only $3.20!

Signature Bak Chor Mee

The Signature Bak Chor Mee ($6, dry) was well-executed, with springy noodles perfectly coated in their special chilli blend. However, the star of this dish was the accompanying soup. Rich in flavour, it was brimming with ingredients like Pork Loin Slices, Pork Liver, and Sole-Fish Meatballs!

Gan Lao Noodles

The Gan Lao Noodles ($5, dry) was a dry variation of the Signature Bak Chor Mee. These noodles were doused in the same special chilli blend, providing a gentle spice.

Generously topped with a variety of ingredients, a notable highlight is the Pork Liver. It was tender, with a pleasing texture that wasn’t overly grainy, and it tasted fresh, free from any overwhelming bloody flavour.

Sliced Fish Spinach Soup with Rice

For those seeking a simpler and lighter option, the Sliced Fish Spinach Soup with Rice ($6) is a great choice. The fish was fresh and had a bouncy, tender texture. The thickness of the slices contributed to an enjoyable mouthfeel, making it a dish we truly enjoyed!

Sambal Ho Liao

Covered in a special sauce and their signature house-made sambal sauce, the Sambal Ho Liao ($4.50) is an excellent addition to any noodle order! This dish had a delightful combination of some of its ingredients, such as sole-fish meatballs, pork liver, and pork cake.
