Coexist Coffee Co. Pasir Panjang: Popular Coffeehouse Opens Third Outlet With Revamped Menu

Coexist Coffee is a popular name in the Singapore cafe scene, and they’ve just opened their latest outlet at Pasir Panjang

Minimalist Interior

Coexist Coffee Co. Pasir Panjang interior

The store features the brand’s signature minimalistic look with cool grey accents. From the furniture to the utensils, everything was cool and muted.

To be honest, we found the design lacklustre compared to their other outlets at Hillview and Paya Lebar, which are larger and have more personality.

Coexist Coffee Pasir Panjang Menu

They’ve revamped their menu across all their outlets and introduced new dishes, such as the Thai Basil Butter Rice ($20).

There is a wide variety of brunch and main options, including the Braised Beef Baguette ($20) and Laksa Fish & Chips ($26).

The drink options don’t disappoint, with specialities like Coexist’s Cola ($7.50), a honey lemon soda with cinnamon, and Oasis ($7.5), a jasmine and coconut water with matcha foam.

Brunch, Mains And Pasta

L to R: Salted Egg Ebi Roll, Surf & Turf

We first had the Surf & Turf ($18). It combines chee chong fun, tiger prawns, chicken char siew and scrambled eggs in a laksa sauce.

Though it was a tad bit salty, it had a nice laksa flavour and we found ourselves going back for more.

For mains, we tried the Salted Egg Ebi Roll ($22). The brioche was soft and buttery and paired well with the rich salted egg sauce.

However, we felt that the ratio of bread to filling was a little off. More ebi (prawn) would have elevated it!

We sampled the Ebiko Pasta ($27), and really enjoyed the flavour of the prawns combined with the ebiko cream sauce.

There was a slight charcoal flavour from the prawn, which we really enjoyed as it elevated the overall dish.

Sides

L to R: Sichuan Honey Wings, Chilli Crab Shakshuka

For sides, we had the Sichuan Honey Wings ($15) and Chilli Crab Shakshuka ($18).

The Sichuan Honey Wings weren’t spicy at all, and were honestly pretty sweet. We enjoyed the nice crispy exterior!

The Chilli Crab Shakshuka comes with a chilli crab tomato dip, fried mantou and tempura soft shell crab.

The tomato taste was strong and overpowered the chilli crab flavour, which was a letdown for us as huge chilli crab lovers.

The mantou and crab were redeeming qualities because they were well-fried and had a nice bite!

Drinks

L to R: Snow White, Matcha

The first drink we had was the Snow White ($7.50), which is an aerocano (aerated americano) with apple puree and cream foam.

This was sweet with a touch of creaminess, without overpowering the coffee.

However, we think the Matcha ($6) can be skipped. There was barely any matcha taste and it was somehow bitter and grainy.

We recommend trying their other coffee-based drinks instead!
