BreadTalk VivoCity: Aesthetic Storefront & Exclusive Bakes Like Fresh Pizza

This year marks BreadTalk’s 25th anniversary, and to celebrate, they’ve opened a new outlet at VivoCity with a brand new concept!

This is their biggest outlet yet and brings a slew of exciting and exclusive offerings.

From the outside, nothing hints that it’s a BreadTalk outlet.

Its open-layout concept and the absence of the familiar BreadTalk logo makes it a standout across the other stores.

The store is brightly lit and features Instagram-worthy decorations that make it warm and inviting.

Paired with the seamless layout and tempting displays, it’s easy to end up at the cashier with a tray full of bread.

This store features open kitchen concepts so you can watch your bakes being prepared fresh in front of you using state-of-the-art equipment.

One of the highlights includes the professional pizza oven that resembles a disco ball!

Bread And Bakes

Aside from BreadTalk’s usual offerings, this outlet presents new bakes, including highlights like Brulee Tarts, Mille-Feuille, Feuiletee, Hot Sandwiches, and the Napoli Series.

There are 5 options for the Hot Sandwiches and all are prepared upon order for ultimate freshness.

The Holy Crab! ($5.80) is the best seller and our recommendation. The chili crab sauce was flavourful and the HUGE stick of kani provided a subtle sweetness.

The Napoli Series is a mini version of the Neapolitan pizza, made with semolina dough that puffs up when baked at high temperatures, creating its fluffy texture and signature bite.

We tried the Mortadella Napoli ($4.4) and Margherita Napoli ($4.40).

Though we enjoyed the texture of the dough and attention to detail in the presentation, we felt that it could do with a little more sauce!

For dessert, choose the Brulee Tarts that excel in both presentation and taste. They were creamy and not overly sweet, making them a good option for a post-meal sweet treat.

We enjoyed the Strawbrulee Layer Tart ($5.20) more than the Matcha Layer Tart ($4.60) as it had a slight tanginess that balanced the flavours.

The Mille-Fueille surprised us with its crumbly texture despite being kept in the fridge, with its layers of crisp pastry and sweet cream.

We only tried the Berry Nutty Mille-Feuille ($6.70) and regret not trying another flavour!

There are other flavours like Peach Please Mille-Fueille ($6.70) and Blueberry Mille-Fueille ($6.70).

BreadTalk’s New Outlet At VivoCity

The new BreadTalk store offers a refreshing take on the bakery experience! With drinks and hot sandwiches on the menu, it leans more towards a lifestyle cafe rather than a grab-and-go store, adding to its appeal. So if you’re looking for a quick snack, this is definitely worth checking out!
