ABODE Bar: Vibey Rooftop Bar In Clarke Quay With Amazing Views & Cocktails At $19 Nett

Perched above Clarke Quay, ABODE Bar is the night-time concept of POUT Rooftop Cafe, taking over the space after dark.

It shifts the focus from coffee to craft cocktails with the Singapore River as its backdrop.

Stunning Night Time Views

Vibey ABODE Bar Clarke Quay

Compared to POUT Rooftop Cafe, the nighttime space turns cosy and intimate.

It’s kept lit only by warm table lamps, so you can admire the city through the windows.

The outdoor seating overlooks a stunning view of the Singapore skyline, with a clear view of the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay Sands.

With good weather and a light breeze, this was the perfect spot to unwind and chat over drinks!

ABODE Rooftop Bar Menu

The menu is QUITE extensive, featuring signature cocktails that put a twist on classics.

All their drinks are priced at $19 nett, which is a great price for the area!

Flavour profiles include a PBJ Old Fashioned, Ocium (basil-infused rum and sour apple liquor) and Garibaldi (Granny Smith Campari and orange).

Some have unique toppings like flavoured creams and torched finishes.

Check out the full list on their website

They also have whiskeys and wines for tipples. P.S. They do Happy Hour from 6.30pm to 8.30pm daily!

To accompany your drinks, they have bites like Baked Camembert Cheese ($22) and Jamon Crostini ($18/3 pcs).

What We Tried

Cocktails

Left: Anethus, Right: Mid Summer Dream

The Mid Summer Dream is a pretty drink, featuring gin, butterfly pea and jasmine water.

It’s simple and slightly sweet, with a subtle floral scent.

The Anethus stood out more with notes of coconut, watermelon and dill vodka, tasting like a refreshing fruit punch.

These lean towards light, fruity profiles; ideal for those who prefer an easier drink.

If you like sweet drinks, we recommend the Pavlova

The mixed berry base is sweet and tangy, complementing the smoky rum.

It’s topped with a torched French meringue, which was a nice touch!

A highlight for us was the LKY Ondeh

The green banana and pandan-infused rum was prominent but not overbearing, almost like sipping on kaya.

We enjoyed this on the outdoor patio with the view, and it was a major vibe.

Left: Drag Me Out, Right: White French Maid

Those who like coffee and sweet drinks will enjoy the next two cocktails.

The White French Maid was one of our favourites!

It literally tasted like a boozy Einspanner. Crisp coffee and fragrant hazelnut, balanced by a creamy and slightly sweet milk foam made it easy to drink.

Drag Me Out was reminiscent of black sesame dessert, featuring grain spirits for a toastier flavour.

The cherry on top was the dalgona coffee foam, creating a sweet, dessert-like drink with Korean touches.

Snacks

No drink is complete without savoury bites, and we started with the Truffle Fries ($15).

These were simple but addictive, especially with the mountain of Parmesan cheese.

Left: Mortadella Crostini, Right: Twin Beef Sliders

For something heavier, their Twin Beef Sliders ($18) are a good choice.

Each mini burger had a beefy patty, ketchup and vegetables, providing a surprisingly balanced bite.

Their Mortadella Crostini ($18/3 pcs) is lighter, with mascarpone cheese and honey topping.
