Studio Ghibli Exhibition In Singapore: Explore Recreations Of Films Like Spirited Away & My Neighbour Totoro

Studio Ghibli fans, get excited! The World of Studio Ghibli exhibition in Singapore will be hosted at the ArtScience Museum from 4 October 2024 to 2 February 2025, featuring dutiful recreations of the Japanese animation studio’s popular films.

Immersive Ghibli Film Sets

Bathhouse from Howl's Moving Castle at the Studio Ghibli Exhibition

The exhibition spans two floors and has 11 galleries dedicated to Studio Ghibli’s iconic films, such as Howl’s Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke.

There are 16 large-scale immersive sets that you can step into to take photos as if you’re in the movie!

Think of the rainy bus stop in My Neighbor Totoro or the famous train with No Face in Spirited Away.

We were thoroughly impressed by the level of detail in each set. Our favourite had to be the moving Howl’s Moving Castle installation!

Every gallery also features interactive elements, like box art and trick-eye installations with intricate details from the films.

You can even draw your own soot sprites and fold Totoro origami!

Once you’re done, you can drop by the merchandise store to snag Studio Ghibli plushies, shirts and pins.
