Catch Midnight Sun: The Musical Live From Korea At GV Funan, Starring SHINee’s ONEW and more

Despite not being able to travel to Korea, it seems like Golden Village has managed to find a way to bring Korea to Singapore. Fans of K-pop are in for a treat as the musical, Midnight Sun, will be screened live, directly from the Kwanglim Arts Center in Seoul, at GV Funan on 7 May, 9 May, and 12 June.

Midnight Sun: The Musical

Midnight Sun tells the story of a boy, Haram, who meets a girl, Haena, who cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. It was originally a 90s Hong Kong classic, Midnight Sun was adapted into a Japanese novel, film, and drama.

Most recently, it was also the subject of a 2018 Hollywood adaptation.

The musical will be played by famous K-pop artists such as SHINee’s Onew, GOT7’s Young Jae, DAY6’s Wonpil, NU’EST’s Baekho, and Lovelyz’s Kei along with other renowned stars.

As the role of Haram and Haena will be played by different idols for each session, do check the schedule on the GV website to make sure you’re booking the right session.

For example, SHINee’s Onew will only be appearing on Friday’s 6:30 pm show.

Limited tickets are available for each show.
