Usually, families will be looking forward to their vacations during the March holidays. Unfortunately, most of us have cancelled our plans in light of the coronavirus situation. If you’re left feeling empty and unsure of what to do, don’t worry because we got you. There are tons of promotions and activities in Singapore to keep you and your kids occupied throughout the entire March holidays.

Gardens By The Bay

Discounts

From 6 – 22 Mar, Singapore Residents enjoy a 50% discount on tickets purchased for One Conservatory, Two Conservatories, Floral Fantasy, Supertree Observatory and Attraction Bundle.

Even better, from 14 – 22 Mar, children aged between 3 to 12 enjoy free admission to Conservatories, Floral Fantasy and the Supertree Observatory. After calculations, a family with 2 kids between the ages of 3 to 12 will only have to pay $20 to enter both conservatories.

It’s spring in the Flower Dome with a beautiful display of cherry blossoms. There are also several Cultural Programmes showcasing traditional Japanese arts ranging from a tea ceremony to a taiko drum performance.

A free* immersive art exhibition that features 7 digital art installations by art collective teamLab is happening till 22 Mar from 7 pm to 12 am.

Make sure to check out the Interactive Egg exhibition held at the Dragonfly Lake – try pushing an egg to see what happens, you’ll be amazed!

Sentosa

From 14 to 22 Mar, entry to Sentosa is free for all. This March Holidays. enjoy a day out in the sun at Siloso Beach, or visit some attractions within the island such as Madame Tussauds, Fort Siloso Skywalk and so much more.

Sentosa also offers Free Day Tours at Fort Siloso every 2nd and 3rd Saturday of the Month (14th, 21st March). During the tour, you will get to explore military structures, tunnels and newly revamped Surrender Chambers.

Jewel Changi Airport

Admission to Jewel’s Canopy Park is priced at $4.50 but from 27 Feb – 31 Mar, the park is free to the public. You can now enjoy free access to the discovery slides, foggy bowls, petal garden and topiary walk. You can also catch a glimpse of cherry blossoms!

Other attractions in the Canopy Park, such as the Manulife Sky Nets will be priced at 50 per cent off. Do note that visitors will have to spend any amount within Jewel Changi to enjoy this promotion.

Singapore Botanic Gardens

National Orchid Garden

From 7 – 22 March, enjoy free admission to the National Orchid Garden located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The National Orchid Garden boasts over 1000 species and 2000 hybrids on display.

The enhanced VIP Garden and the new Neram Forest is also now open to the public.

Let’s Learn About Butterflies Walk @ Singapore Zoo

If you’re planning a visit to the Singapore Zoo, a perfect value-added activity for your kids is a free tour to learn about butterflies. Over at the fragile forest, you will be able to go on a tour with a butterfly keeper and find out how they care for the butterflies.

Disney: Magic of Animation

If the outdoors isn’t for you, head over to the ArtScience Museum where the Disney exhibition is still ongoing. A first in Southeast Asia, go behind the scenes to experience over 90 years of Disney magic.

The artworks on display range from timeless classics to more recent favourites such as Frozen 2.

Science Centre and Snow City

When you purchase two or more admission tickets to the Science Centre, Snow City and other participating attractions such as Butterflies Up-Close and more, you’ll get to enjoy 50% off your total purchase.

There are several exhibitions at the science centre such as the Rice is Life Exhibition, where you can test your skills at sowing rice seeds. Let your child experience being a scientist for a day at the discover-it-yourself laboratory where you can try out many different experiments.
