Halloween may be over, but over at Sentosa, the horror doesn’t seem to end.
Extended until the 17th of November, KURSED is an interactive hybrid adventure that combines a race-against-time thrill of an escape room, along with the twisted thematic scares of a haunted house tour.
With numerous reviews promising that this tour is unlike the usual and ordinary ‘meh’ haunted house tour, KURSED is definitely not for the faint-hearted as one is bound to have chills running down the spine every second!
Introducing KURSED
Actor, playwright and director Jonathan Lim is the brain behind this entire experience. If you don’t know who he is – he is the creator/writer for Singapore’s longest-running live parody sketch show Chestnuts.
He is also currently working on a screenplay about Malay black magic and a television pilot about a serial killer obsessed with Chinese Hell.
This entire horror experience was made possible with the help of Cerebral Events and Mega Adventure.
How the Adventure Works
Each group will be divided in two, with each team taking a different route and facing different challenges as you navigate this forest of fear, where mischievous spirits watch from the trees and notorious hantu (ghost in Malay) await you around every bend. Be prepared to encounter the most terrifying figures of Malay ghostlore – the undead Pocong, the child-stealing Hantu Tetek, the disembodied Hantu Penanggalan, and of course, the big sister of our nightmares – the Pontianak herself!
Only success and survival of BOTH teams will allow the group to depart the kampung in one piece!
What You Can Expect
You’ll probably also be screaming a lot and running away from the different hantus. A word of caution from us, be mentally prepared when you’re carrying out the tasks at KURSED.
