Available from 12pm to 10pm, the pop-up event promises a number of exciting activities:
#JiaJiaOnTheGo retro pop-up cafe
The pop-up cafe in a VW Kombi van offers a curated menu of free refreshing drinks and dessert made with Jia Jia Herbal Tea in collaboration with award-winning mixologist Kazuhiro Chii from The Bar Kakure. We got to try them and they’re surprisingly good! This includes the Angmoh Liang Teh, a fruity flavour that compliments the herbal essence and Kiasu Yuzu, with light but refreshing citrus notes.
If you’d like to try something special, get the alcoholic Berry Nice, made with Martell and berry-infused cognac – a subtle berry fragrance that pairs well with the herbal tea and cuts through the alcohol. You can also try their Very “Gui” Ling Gao that has Jia Jia Herbal Tea infused Honey with Gui Ling Gao jelly, a nice twist on the traditional dessert that has loads of health benefits. Enjoy these treats with the backdrop of live music performances by local artists Jumpstart, Aggy & Jee, Micapella’s Ke Xin and Peter, and Cold Cut Duo, who will be singing tunes from all genres, including nostalgic favourites and National Day songs.

Take pictures with the 7-meter tall Jia Jia Herbal Tea installation that also features their mascot, Uncle Jia Jia with the backdrop of local heritage icons in its design. And that’s not all!
