Golden Village Love & Pride Film Festival: Bringing Untold Stories To Light

Back for its 12th edition, Golden Village’s Love & Pride Film Festival will feature a dazzling lineup of internationally acclaimed foreign titles.

GV Love & Pride Film Festival 2021

From 10 to 24 Oct 2021, Golden Village will be screening seven films that “bring hidden stories to light” at GV Grand, Suntec City, and VivoCity. The festival features a series of critical acclaim and thought-provoking cinematic works such as the all-new films such as multi-award-winning Brazilian film, Valentina and “See You Then”, which stars Lynn Chen of Saving Face fame.

Audiences can also look forward to the riveting, Portrait of Lady On Fire which won the Queer Palm and Best Screenplay Award at the Cannes film festival. Ticket sales start from now till 24th Oct 2021 for $14 (GV Movie Club® members) and $16 (public) respectively.

See You Then

SEE YOU THEN was awarded Best Narrative Feature at Sun Valley Film Festival 2021. Pooya Mohseni was awarded Best Actress at the FilmOut Festival Award at the FilmOut San Diego and is also the winner of the Grand Jury Prize for Best Performance in a U.S Narrative Feature at L.A. OutFest 2021.

Valentina

Valentina is a reflection of the real-life hardships that society forces a strong young woman to endure and embrace who she is.

Thiessa Woinbackk was awarded as the winner of the Best Performance Award in International Narrative Feature at the 38th edition of Outfest, Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival.

House of Hummingbird

Set in 1994 in Seoul, House of Hummingbird is a coming-of-age story about a lonely and awkward teenager struggling to figure out who they are and who they hope to become in a time of upheaval both in their personal life and in the outside world.
