After a successful launch of Curiosity Cove, Mandai Wildlife Reserve is introducing another immersive nature-themed space: Exploria! The indoor multimedia attraction explores different ecosystems and how nature navigates the changing environments.
It opens officially to the public on 3 March 2026.
What Is Exploria?
Exploria is a multisensory space designed to showcase natural environments and phenomena usually inaccessible to humans.
Using interactive architecture, responsive technology and sensory stimulus, you experience different worlds from a personal POV.

Every visitor is given a unique RFID wristband for their visit. This wristband activates interactive touchpoints throughout Exploria, sharing more facts about the highlighted animals.
It also lets visitors personalise a digital avatar and collect animal badges across the themed environments.
It’s a small but personal touch that made the experience more fun, even for us!
There’s a live scoreboard that tracks all visitors’ progress to encourage some friendly competition.
Exploria’s Five Worlds
The whopping 10,000 square meter space is split into five areas, each themed after a unique ecosystem.
Standing at the centre is Our Interconnected World. This central hub has a four-metre LED globe that pulses with colourful illustrations, like a heartbeat.
Catch The Planet Awakens, Exploria’s light and sound show that captures the energy and diversity of the five worlds.
There will also be periodic interludes of Disruptive Moments, a showcase that highlights the urgency of climate protection and encourges users to participate in conseration and protection.
Realm of the Giants
This space brings prehistoric life to reality, with large statues of Mesozoic dinosaurs (T. rex, pterodactyls) and colossal sea creatures.
A highlight is The Giants Show, a 360-degree standing theatre that tells the story of 500 million years on Earth!
Complete with mist, music and immersive animations, this turned out to be a pretty fun show.
Micro Worlds
On the flipside, Micro Worlds zooms into microscopic environments. Learn more about bacteria, plankton and fungi and how they play a surprisingly crucial role in sustaining life on Earth.
This environment was straight out of a sci-fi movie, with dedicated coves that share about the science behind these tiny but mighty creatures.
Bitdeer AI Extreme Frontiers
Extreme Frontiers transports visitors into hot desert winds and freezing arctic ice through virtual expeditions and simulator rooms.
You experience how animals survive these harsh environments, from the polar bears to the Namaqua chameleons.
Infinite Wonderland
Infinite Wonderland highlights the biodiversity of the rainforests and coral reefs through multi-sensory environments.
Walk through lush foliage and discover hidden animals, including the Wallace’s Flying Frog and the mimic octopus.
World of Darkness
In the World of Darkness, learn how animals navigate a world without light in the depths of the deep ocean and dark caves.
The trail is close to pitch black to mimic the darkness of actual environments, providing a chance to showcase unique evolutionary skills like echolocation.
