DOSCORN Orange Sends Singaporeans Into Frenzy, Shelves Wiped Out at Supermarkets

Singapore is now currently in DOSCORN Orange as announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

What does DOSCORN Orange mean?

Let us also continue to be socially responsible and practice personal hygiene. Avoid unnecessary crowds if needed.

Supermarket Shelves Empty

Hours after the announcement of DOSCORN Orange Alert, we’ve received photos of Singaporeans at supermarkets island-wide stocking up on supplies such as tissue paper, instant noodles and canned food.

There are super long queues at supermarkets as well.

No more toilet paper in NTUC Singapore
No more toilet rolls.

Please do not hoard any items, but only buy what you need. Let’s try to be calm.

No Luck Online As Well

If you’re thinking of buying your stuff online, you may face some difficulties. As of 10.00 pm SGT, most of the toilet paper brands on Redmart has been marked as sold out.

It almost feels like an apocalypse has happened in Singapore.

A reminder for us to not be overly kiasu, and only purchase what is needed. Remain calm and let’s fight this virus together.

Stay safe this season everyone.
