Inspired by local dishes, Crusty’s launches two new potato chip flavours under their Hawker Culture series: Singapore BBQ Seafood and Singapore Chicken Rice.
Crusty’s New Potato Chips
The Singapore BBQ Seafood ridge-cut potato chips pack a spicy punch, just like your usual hawker seafood platters that have sambal stingray. This was quite spicy, and the spice builds up bite after bite.
For non-spicy lovers, you can dig into the Chicken Rice potato chips, which is reminiscent of spiced-infused poached chicken. We found this to have a prominent ginger fragrance, similar to the condiment you get when you order chicken rice.
