THE ART OF DEVILROBOTS 25th Anniversary Showcase

The DEVILROBOTS brand is celebrating its 25th anniversary! It was established in 1997 in Tokyo and has since captured the hearts of many around the world. The exhibition will feature some of their classic works, alongside some anniversary exclusives.

This design of To-Fu Oyako has been around since 2002!

Take a peek at models of To-Fu Oyako, a tofu humanoid hybrid dressed in a space-inspired body. The design was originally submitted to a Japanese design competition, but become the brand’s official mascot. You can peek at all its variations, some lasting all the way since 2002! To-Fu Oyako has been featured in brand partnerships with names like Gong Cha, Bandai, Levis and more.

The exclusive Mother and Son To-Fu Kubriks will be on display as part of the anniversary collection, being fully hand-painted by Mr. Shinichiro Kitai (“Shin”) the Art Director of DEVILROBOTS.  There is also a lineup of over 40 artworks that feature To-Fu Oyako, including 25 hand-painted original paintings of the loveable mascot designed with different personalities.

Original one-of-a-kind sketches of To-Fu Oyako by Shin will also be showcased, highlighting the creative process and details in his art. There are even spoofs of “The Scream” and “Girl with a Pearl Earring” paintings – see if you can spot them!

The Rabbit Kaiju, MIMILA
The evirob character

Other original DEVILROBOT characters evirob and MIMILA (best described as a Rabbit Kaiju) will also be on display, both with unique but eye-catching designs.
