Mains
Signature 10 Spice Combo
The Signature 10 Spice Combo ($125) had a generous serving of a combination of crawfish and crab. The sauce offered a balance of spice and numbness that are bearable for those who can’t take spice well. The meat was tender and juicy, absorbing the rich flavours of the sauce. The accompanying noodles were a great addition, soaking up the remaining sauce.
Bi Feng Tang Combo
The Bi Feng Tang Combo ($125), featured a mix of crawfish and crab and had a fragrant garlic aroma. However, we found the meat to be drier compared to the 10 Spiced combo. Those who enjoy a strong garlicky flavour would likely appreciate this dish, especially when paired with a bowl of white rice to complement the aromatic garlic.
Steamed Hairy Crab
The Steamed Hairy Crab (Seasonal Price) was well-sized for a hairy crab, offering plenty of succulent meat and rich, creamy crab tomalley that left a satisfying lingering taste. The natural sweetness of the crab meat, enhanced by a subtle hint of brininess, added depth to the flavour.
Steamed Crawfish
We recommend trying the Steamed Crawfish ( S:$48/L:$90) if you prefer the natural sweetness of crawfish. The Steamed Crawfish retained its inherent sweetness and had a slightly firmer texture.
Sides
Lotus Root Fries
The Lotus Root Fries ($16) had a crispy exterior and a tender, slightly stringy interior. The light tempura batter provided a satisfying crunch, while the lotus root itself added a unique texture and a hint of sweetness. The fries were a perfect accompaniment to any meal or could be enjoyed on their own as a delicious snack, especially when paired with a cold beer.
Salt & Pepper Crawfish Tail
The Salt & Pepper Crawfish Tail ($32) were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was salty but remained addictive, with the spices adding a subtle depth of flavour. The crawfish tails were the perfect accompaniment to a bowl of rice and would also be a great appetizer or snack!
Pickled Cucumber
The Pickled Cucumber ($12), were drenched in a fragrant vinegar-based sauce. The cucumber was well-marinated, with a slight tang that complemented its crisp texture.
