Tiong Bahru Bakery Opens Their Largest Outlet Yet – 3,500sqft Space in Centrepoint with Expanded Hot Food Menu

You might have seen more of Tiong Bahru Bakery in recent days, with so many new outlets popping out all around the island. But they’re not stopping anytime soon – the widely known bakery cafe has opened its largest outlet yet, over at Centrepoint, taking over the previous Dalkomm Coffee.

Tiong Bahru Bakery Centrepoint Seating Area

Spanning over 3,500 sqft with over 120 seats, the new Tiong Bahru Bakery in Centrepoint features various seating areas, as well as an open-concept kitchen, where patrons can now see their croissants being baked.

It’s not only a great spot for coffee and bakes, but this central location is perfect for brunch with its updated hot food menu, featuring hearty comfort dishes such as a Pulled Pork Risoni ($24), Portobello, Avocado & Hummus Black Sandwich ($22), Miso Soba Noodles ($22) and more.

We tried the classic TBB Big Breakfast ($26) which featured a spread of pork sausage, sourdough toast, roasted potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, and eggs of your choice – we went for scrambled.

One dish we enjoyed was the Savoury Pancakes ($22), which looked pretty simple at a glance. However, hidden between the stacks of fluffy pancakes were slices of crispy bacon that added a nice pinch of savoury flavours. Paired with a sunny side up and maple syrup, this proved to be a delicious treat.

For something protein-focused, the Hot Chicken & Pumpkin ($24) featured seared chicken breast with roasted Gochujang spiced Kabocha pumpkin and a creamy wasabi sauce, that was well balanced.

Don’t leave before trying the Dessert Croffle ($10) which comes with caramelized croissant waffles made using the signature TBB croissant, vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate sauce, and roasted almond flakes. The croissant reminded us of their kouign amann, and the crispy texture paired so well with the cold vanilla bean ice cream.

Apart from the hot food menu, Tiong Bahru Bakery also continues to offer its delectable pastries, baguettes, and an enticing lineup of sandwich and salad creations.
