Local chocolate brand Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie has opened its first chocolate lifestyle space in Dempsey! The Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie (Dempsey Factory) showcases the best of Asian chocolate housed in a lush and sleek interior with a number of interactive elements.
A World Of Chocolate
The chocolate factory spans a massive 5,000 square feet with a variety of interesting sections to sample Mr. Bucket’s hand-crafted chocolates.
The entryway greets guests with a ceiling of brightly coloured cacao pods, leading to The Cacao Garden outdoor patio where they can leisurely enjoy their treats. The Dispensary is right at entry, offering a selection of Mr. Bucket’s signature chocolate products for purchase. Guests can bring their own reusable containers to fill up with their chocolate of choice!
Customise Your Own Chocolate
The highlight of Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie has to be The Creation Station, where you can create your own chocolate slab with a variety of toppings including dried fruits and sweet treats!
You can follow the entire journey of the creation of chocolate from the Hot Kitchen (The Bean Room) where the beans are roasted, to the Cold Room (The Chocolate Room) where they make bonbons, bars and other treats.
Bean To Bar Menu
In The Tasting Room, you can sit down and sample a curated menu of chocolate dishes. There’s a Bean-To-Bar Journey tasting set that features cacao beans from a farm in Panchor, Malaysia.
The set starts with a Cacao Bean Dark Chocolate followed by Cacao Husk Lemon Tea, 66% Chocolate Bar, Double Soy Caramel Bon Bon, before finishing with 64% Chocolate Passionfruit Sable.
Other goodies include their Chewy Chocolate Cookie, Dark Chocolate Choux Puff and Sea Salt Brownie. They even have drinks like the Cacao Husk Lemon Tea, Iced Mocha and a Cacao Wine!
