There are lots of Korean marts in Singapore, but we love it when a new one pops up selling items that cannot easily be gotten. Jangbom is a relatively new online Korean mart selling frozen ready-to-eat foods, side dishes and desserts.
They mainly carry Cookat products, a famous and popular brand in Korea. Their Korean Instagram page has more than 1.3 million followers.
Korean Soy Sauce Marinated Crabs and Shrimps
Ganjang-gejang, or Soy Sauce Marinated Crabs, is a rare dish in Singapore. You can find it in some Korean restaurants in Singapore, but it’s not as easily available as other Korean dishes such as Army Stew.
On Jangbom, it’s retailing at $35.80 for 1kg.
They also sell the shrimp alternative, Ganjang-saewoo. For those who want to try soy sauce marinated dishes, but the crabs seem too intimidating, shrimps are a great way to start.
The Soy Sauce Marinated Shrimp is retailing at $42.80 for 1kg.
According to a review on their product listing, you can keep the sauce and put in a few boiled eggs to make Mayak Eggs.

Jangbom recently added three new instant fried rice listings on their website. They are:
One of the more unique ones is probably the Gamjatang Fried Rice. It contains ingredients such as perilla leaves, siraegi and perilla seed powder to really bring out the gamjatang flavour.
Each packet contains an individual portion (250g), a great fuss-free lunch option for those working from home.
Korean Rice Cakes
Sweet Potato, Tiramisu and Strawberry Cream
These mochi looking rice cakes are huge and filled with lots of cream. Just take a look at the sweet potato tteok:
One of their best sellers is the Strawberry Cream tteok which is filled with cream and strawberry puree. While writing this article, the Strawberry Cream tteok remains sold out, so hopefully, they restock it soon!
They come in a box with individual packaging for added convenience.
