The interior of II Clay Supper Club is designed with a modern, vibrant atmosphere, enhanced by LED lights that give off a club-like vibe.

The space is filled with upbeat music, creating an energetic ambience that sets the tone for a lively dining experience. The seating is spacious, with comfortable arrangements that can easily accommodate larger groups.

II Clay Supper Club Menu

II Clay Supper Club offers an extensive selection of dishes, ranging from small bites to pastas and pizzas.

For starters, enjoy cold dishes like Smoked Sea Bream ($23) and Whipped Ricotta Dip ($18), or hot sides such as Roasted Pork Belly ($19) and Thousand Layer Potatoes ($15).

For mains, options include pizzas like the Margherita ($28) and 6 Cheese & Honey ($55) which uses their signature 48-hour proofed dough technique to ensure its well hydrates, fluffy and airy crust.

A good thing is that they offer half portions of their pizza, great for smaller groups or to sample more flavours!

They also offer pasta dishes such as Oyster Reginette ($32) and Gnocchi ($29).

For sharing, the II Clay Seafood Platter ($188) is a great choice. The Platter includes ingredients such as Boston lobster, seasonal oysters, clams and mussels.

Burrata Tomato Agrodolce

The Burrata Tomato Agrodolce($22) had creamy burrata that paired well with the juicy, sweet marinated tomatoes. The tomatoes burst in the mouth, providing a refreshing contrast to the smooth texture of the burrata.

Muhammara

The Muhammara ($19) was served with crispy crackers alongside a smooth, smoky, and slightly sweet red pepper dip. The dip had a rich, nutty aftertaste that we enjoyed.

Its balanced flavour profile makes it a great choice as a starter, offering a light yet flavorful introduction to the meal.

100 Layers Lasagna

The 100 Layers Lasagna ($32) was made with thin layers of pasta sheets, giving a light texture without any starchy aftertaste.

It was generously topped with a rich bolognese sauce that provided a hearty, savoury flavour. The addition of crispy cheese added a slight crunch, balancing the dish without overwhelming the palate.

Overall, the combination of flavours and textures makes for a satisfying and well-rounded dish!

The Six Stars

The Six Stars ($28/$42) is the signature at Il Clay, featuring pockets of tomatoes, mortadella ham and premium Fior De Latte cheese. We had a smaller Four Star version!

This struck a nice balance of tangy, creamy, and savoury flavours. The cream base gave it a rich yet not overpowering cheesiness, while the ham added a light saltiness.

The pillowy crust was airy and soft, with slightly crispy edges, which enhanced the overall texture.

6 Cheese & Honey

The 6 Cheese & Honey ($37/$55) delivered a cheesy richness with a crispy baked parmesan topping.

The truffle honey added a subtle sweetness, though the truffle flavour wasn’t very pronounced. Despite the mix of six different cheeses, the pizza remained balanced and not too heavy on the palate.

Sofia Loren

The Sofia Loren ($30/$45) pizza stood out with its bold flavours, with the use of anchovies. It had a distinct black pepper kick and a salty bite from the anchovies, which may be a bit intense for some.

We liked the crispy crust base, paired with a stuffed ricotta-filled crust that added creaminess!

Sicilian Stuffed Squid

The Sicilian Stuffed Squid had a tender squid that was easy to bite through. The squid was generously stuffed with a creamy, flavorful risotto, complemented by a rich chorizo peperonata sauce.

The combination of chorizo and peppers provided a savoury and balanced flavour, making this dish a satisfying option.

Drinks

We tried the Chianti Sour ($22) and Capo Dei Capi ($25). For a sweeter option, the Chianti Sour offers a nice aftertaste with a citrusy note.

If you prefer a classic, smoky cocktail, the Capo Dei Capi is a great choice. It’s smoked tableside to infuse the drink with coffee, giving it a unique richness.

Apart from the usual alcoholic options, they also offer Pizzatinis, which come with 18 pizza-inspired shooters. We tried the Regina Margheri ($68), which stood out with its tomato juice base and cheese foam, creating a sweet and salty combination.
