GudSht Celebrates the Singapore Spirit with 4 New Bottled Cocktails With Names Like ‘Shiok Sia’

For those who have not heard of GudSht, they are a local brand that launched in the midst of the pandemic back in 2020. They have since grown to opening, not one, but two physical bars of their own at Cineleisure and King George. In celebration of Singapore’s 56th birthday, they have launched 4 new cocktails that are decked in some of SG’s best-loved national icons.

GudSht National Day Bundle of Singapore Inspired Bottled Cocktails for enjoyment at home

Lepak Ah

Just like its name, Lepak Ah was designed for a chill weekend picnic. The packaging has a picture of the iconic Merlion, something that’s uniquely Singapore.

The cocktail is made of Jim Beam White, Midori, Amaretto, and cranberry juice. With scents of liquorice and nuts, the 18.7% ABV drink is best enjoyed on the rocks in a tall glass on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Steady Lah

Named after one of Singapore’s most-loved television character’s favourite lines, “Steady Lah!” That’s right, it’s Phua Chu Kang!

We’re not sure if the colour of the cocktail was intentional, but it does remind us of PCK’s iconic yellow boots.

Steady Lah is a full-bodied vodka-based cocktail made of Haku Vodka, Amaretto, Midori, Orange Juice, Peach Bitters, and Plum Bitters.

The cocktail with an ABV of 13.4% is best enjoyed with ice and an orange slice.

Shiok Sia

Often said when tucking into your favourite dishes, Shiok Sia is a perfect cocktail to go alongside some of your favourite hawker centre indulgences.

The refreshing cocktail is made from Haku Vodka, Chrysanthemum Tea, Wolfberry Syrup, Rose Syrup and Lime Juice and boasts whiffs of floral bouquet and a gentle sweetness.

Swee Boh

Last but not least, the GudSht Swee Boh cocktail pays homage to the world-famous Marina Bay Sands alongside other iconic spots in Singapore such as Gardens By The Bay and the Singapore Flyer.

It’s made of Sauza Silver Tequila, Red Sangria, Lime Juice, Grand Marnier and Agave Syrup. The rich, full-bodied concoction combines a sharp punch of tequila with the smoothness of a good sangria.

The beautiful, mesmerizing, red-tinted cocktail is best served on ice with a lime peel in a wine glass for some Crazy Rich Asians vibes.
