Incheon Paradise City Hotel: Luxurious & Comfortable Hotel Stay Near Incheon Airport

One of the things you’ll have to do when travelling under the Korea VTL is to self-isolate until you get the results from your on-arrival PCR test. With a projected waiting time of up to 12 hours, some might want to opt for a comfortable stay.

Disclaimer: This stay was part of KTO’s Media Trip, but from what we know, you are allowed to stay at this hotel while waiting for your PCR test result, simply inform them beforehand.

Getting to Incheon Paradise City Hotel

Incheon Paradise City Hotel Lobby

I took a cab from Incheon Airport Terminal 1, and the journey took less than 5 mins and less than 5,000won. They weren’t kidding when they said that the hotel is super close to the airport.

For check-in, the process was smooth and easy. I needed to fill in some forms and show them my vaccination status + PCR test result in Singapore. The staff helped to bring my luggage all the way to the floor I’m staying at.

Once inside, it’s just a waiting game until your PCR test results are out.

The good thing about staying in a hotel is you have access to room service, so you won’t have to rely on cup noodles for your meals.

Room Facilities

The room I stayed in was the Deluxe Room (Twin option), which had a small working corner. The 45m2 room was comfortable and came with facilities like a 55-inch Full HD TV, complimentary mineral water, and… complimentary minibar per night!

This meant free cans of beer and Pepsi, on top of the Osulloc tea bags, coffee drip bags, and biscuits in the drawer.

I also loved how they provided a wireless charging pad which meant me not having to dig out my own phone charger for the night.

Bathroom Goals

Decked in marble interior and amenities from Penhaligon’s London, the bathroom has everything you would need on a day-to-day basis. There’s also a huge bathtub where you can spend time soaking while waiting for your PCR results.

The toilet bowl also has a heating function for chilly winter days and a separate shower with a rain shower head installed.

Hotel Lobby

Incheon Paradise City Hotel has 3 different wings: Gold, Purple, and Red. My room was in the Gold Wing.

After receiving a negative PCR test result, I managed to walk around and take some photos of the lobby which I casually walked past before when checking in.

The chandeliers, art displays, and interior make you feel like you’re in a K-drama scene. Being curious, a quick search revealed that the hotel was part of dramas like Hotel Del Luna, The King: Eternal Monarch, and Penthouse.

Hotel Breakfast

Incheon Paradise City Hotel was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in a while. With a large selection of food from continental to more local food items, there’s something for everyone.

You’ll first be directed to your seat where a server will ask you if you’d like coffee or tea. Before rushing off to explore the breakfast buffet, make sure to put on a plastic glove before using any shared tongs.

The bakery section was our favourite, with the croissants having an extremely crisp exterior and soft, airy center.

Lots To Do Here

It was a shame that I only got to stay for 1 night here and couldn’t explore more of the facilities located within the hotel.

For starters, there’s Wonder Box – an indoor amusement filled with rides and carnival games. There’s also Cimer, a modern take on Korea’s Jjimjilbbang culture, where you can various spa zones and saunas.

For the art enthusiast, there’s also Paradise Art Space, where you can explore different exhibitions.
