Kim Ji Young (played by Nam Joo Hyuk) is a model student in the police academy by day. But he hides a dark secret: On the weekends, he punishes criminals who were given light sentences and have not changed despite their time behind bars. 

Delivering a thrilling ride, with action-packed scenes and cliffhangers that leave us anxious to see the unfolding events. We’re left wondering if Kim Ji Young can maintain his secret identity, or will the truth come to light.

The cast for “Vigilante” couldn’t be more fitting with Nam Joo Hyuk playing the lead role. Known for his recent sensational drama, “Start-Up”, he is also known for his other roles in “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo” and “Twenty-Five Twenty-One”. Drifting from Nam Joo Hyuk’s usual romance dramas, “Vigilante” will be his last project before military enlistment and fans can anticipate a different side of his acting. 

Joining Nam Joo Hyuk in the lead roles are Yoo Ji Tae, portraying a chief investigator determined to put a stop to the vigilante’s reign, and Lee Jun Hyuk, who, holds deep admiration for the Vigilante’s cause and assists him in his pursuits.

Kim So Jin takes on the character of a persistent news reporter, aiming to expose the reality behind the Vigilante. Despite having uncovered his identity, she remains determined in her quest to understand the motives driving his vigilantism.

Without spoiling anything else, “Vigilante” is now streaming on Disney+ and it’s worth a watch!
