Korea’s 7-11 Has A Coconut Soft Serve By Famous Vietnam Coffee Chain, Cong Caphe

One does not simply go to Vietnam and not try Vietnamese coffee. Besides pho, one of the most iconic things about Vietnam is their coffee. There are many cafes in Vietnam, but Cong Caphe is probably one of the most iconic ones.

For those that don’t know, back in 2018, Cong Caphe expanded to Korea and opened its first outlet in Yeonnam-dong. Right now, the coffee brand has more than 5 outlets in Korea, in neighbourhoods such as Itaewon and Sindorim.

Cong Caphe’s Coconut Smoothie Coffee

While the menu at Cong Caphe is quite extensive, the coconut smoothie coffee is one of Cong Caphe’s signature menu items. A delicious blend of coconut milk and ice, topped with their signature, rich coffee.

At 7-11, the coconut smoothie coffee is made into a smooth and creamy coconut soft serve, topped with Cong Caphe’s signature coffee.

The fun part? Having to “assemble” the soft-serve yourself.

The soft serve is stored in an ice capsule, with a designated machine to dispense the soft serve. It comes with a small packet of Cong Caphe’s Vinacano Black to drizzle over the soft serve, almost like an affogato.

Great Response

There has been a good response to the soft serve release. Many who have tried it have said it’s like having a cup of Cong Caphe’s coconut smoothie coffee. The soft serve has a strong coconut flavour with hints of condensed milk. After the soft serve melts, it blends well with the coffee, creating some sort of coconut coffee.

With travel restrictions in place, the coconut soft serve by Cong Caphe is a great way to relive moments in Vietnam. As for us Singaporeans, since we are unable to travel to Vietnam or Korea at the moment, we can only make do with some instant Vietnam coffee.
