Cafe Smeltz: From Spring To Winter, This Cafe In Korea Is Scenery Goals

Cafe Smeltz is a cafe in Seongnam, a city near Seoul, easily reachable by public transport. The cafe opened back in August 2018 and has since been a hotspot that showcases the beauty of different seasons.

The cafe is in a standalone white building surrounded by lots of trees and nature.

Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by a couple of seating areas, but the real deal is located on the 2nd floor. With two huge glass panels, it almost looks as though Cafe Smeltz installed Plasma TVs as part of their interior.

Different Seasons, Different Vibes

During spring, surround yourself with cherry blossoms while sipping on a cup of coffee at their terrace area.

In summer, experience healing while gazing at the beautiful greenery outside of the wide windows.

The cafe comes to life during autumn, with diverse shades of red, orange and yellow populating the surroundings of the cafe. Make sure to get a seat on the 2nd floor for the best experience.

If you’re lucky, you can witness a blanket of snow covering the trees and hills near the cafe. Warm yourself with a nice cup of coffee while gazing at the snow.

Besides simple bakes and beverages, Cafe Smeltz also sells items such as Pastas, Salads and Open Sandwiches.

If you’re a Matcha lover, indulge in their signature Matcha Einspanner while basking in the views. Desserts-wise, you can try their Tiramisu or scones that will go well with your beverages.

How To Go To Cafe Smeltz

The easiest way to head to Cafe Smeltz is taking the subway and alighting at Pangyo Station. From there, you’ll have to transfer to Buses 1150 or 1151. From Pangyo Station to the Cafe, it’s about a 20min bus ride.

Alight at the Sinhyeon-3-ri bus stop and walk for about 100m until you see the Cafe Smeltz white building. The bus stop surroundings may resemble the countryside, but don’t panic, just find the white building on top of a slight hill and you’ll be fine.
