LP Cafe Tone (LP카페 톤): Hole-In-The-Wall LP Record Cafe In Yeongdeung-po, Seoul

The area of Yeongdeung-po is full of undiscovered cafes and eateries, with LP Cafe Tone (LP카페 톤) being one of them!

Located about a 10-minute bus ride from the Yeongdeung-po train station, this cafe is truly a hidden gem worth the trip.

Hidden in The Neighbourhood

LP Cafe Tone entrance in Seoul

The cafe is in a residential area so you will need to walk a bit from the bus stop.

The entrance is striking compared to the neighbouring stores with an open window and full wooden exterior.

There are camping chairs outside, alongside some T-shirts on sale.

It’s just as quaint inside. There is open counter seating plus two smaller corners with sparse seating.

LP is in the name so they offer a good selection of LP records and vintage shirts for sale! The walls are also covered in records, vintage posters and unique knick-knacks which are fun.

The cherry on top is the music they play in-store on a vinyl record player – perfect for the vibes!

LP Cafe Tone Menu

Their menu is small with only a few drinks. The coffees are all 3,000 won with options like Americano, Vanilla Latte and Chocolate Latte.

Non-coffee drinks are 4,000 won, including Ice Lemon Tea, Pear Tea and Chamomile.

We got an Iced Americano and Hazelnut Latte. They were served on Bathing Ape coasters, which was a nice touch!

The drinks were good but not noteworthy, just a way to sit and enjoy the calm atmosphere.

With the superb playlist and comfortable space, time felt like it passed slower. You could easily spend a whole afternoon here!
