JejeSoso (재재소소): Private Stone House Accommodation Near Sanbangsan in Jeju with Heated Pool, Sauna & More

A whole different landscape from places like Seoul and Busan, Jeju offers a different pace of life and is one of the most popular holiday destinations, both domestically and internationally.

The size of the island also naturally allows for a more diverse range of accommodations, from hotels, and hostels to modern interpretations of the traditional Jeju stone house. If you’re considering heading there for wellness or relaxation in general, we highly recommend booking a private stay for the best experience.

JejeSoso, is a stay listed on STAYFOLIO’s platform and is personally one of our favourite platforms to find aesthetic stays. While we’ve worked with them before, our stay at JejeSoso was completely out of our own pockets.

Jeju Accommodation Near Sanbangsan

Entrance to JejeSoso Jeju

JejeSoso is split into two private villas. The first was Jeje, which is the one we stayed at. The other is known as Soso, a two-story building boasting views of Jeju’s Andeok region.

One word of advice, the accommodation can be quite difficult to reach via public transport, so having a car (self-drive or hired) is highly recommended. These private car charters can be easily found on platforms like Klook and KKDay.

Check-in instructions were sent to our email, and everything is automated. The gate and door passwords along with a whole guide of the stay were provided, which made checking in very seamless and easy.

Jeje consists of 3 separate houses, and they all surround the central heated pool.

Sauna at JejeSoso

Two of the three houses are bedrooms and come with attached restrooms. One of them even had a private sauna and open bath area.

The bathrooms all come with Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash, bathrobes, and towels of different sizes. Like most STAYFOLIO stays, the bathroom also came with a Dyson hair dryer – one of the better amenities.

There was also an accompanying tea set in the larger bedroom, where you’re free to make your tea and enjoy a restful time.

Bedrooms also came with Bluetooth speakers, which we appreciated.

The beds were all comfortable, with 1 King Bed and 2 Queen Beds in the entire Jeje property.

The remaining house was the Living/Dining Room, which comes with a well-equipped kitchen, as well as an outdoor kitchen, where you have the option of doing up a BBQ Dinner.

The Living Area comes with a sofa as well as a TV, along with another restroom.

If you’re visiting with family, the kitchen is perfect for cooking as it comes with lots of pots, pans, plates, bowls, and kitchenware. There’s also a Balmuda toaster, a water purifier/dispenser, and a washer for laundry.

We also loved how the stay provided coffee beans and accessories for us to brew filter coffee.

The highlight of the stay was the heated pool, which made for the perfect restful afternoon despite us visiting during winter.

At night, the lights turn on automatically, and the space gives off a different vibe.

There’s not much to see nearby, but there was a popular Italian restaurant perfect for dinner. Since it’s Korea, there was also a convenience store just a short walk away.

Aesthetic Jeju Accommodation

We really loved the entire stay experience at JejeSoso and deliberately checked in on time just to experience all the amenities and features of the stay. It’s not only great for groups of friends, but even families with young kids!
