The Most Insta-Worthy Spots in Bali Seminyak

One of the most beautiful places on Earth has definitely gotta be Bali! Bali has always been a must-go destination for all my friends and it definitely was mine as well! Bali blew my mind and went beyond my expectations! I’ve heard of the beautiful sunsets and beaches but little did I know Bali was such an aesthetic place filled with insta-worthy spots, amazing cafes, restaurants and bars. I didn’t manage to go to every single place on my list but hey, this gives me more reason to go back right?

I reached Bali in the morning after taking a 5 am flight from Singapore, so the first thing to do was to check in to my Airbnb! It was a decent place although I did walk out of the accommodation with a few extra bedbug bites. It was one of the relatively cheap places so.. I guess a villa in Bali would be a better choice? I’ve had great experiences with my Airbnbs so far though. Especially if you’re going with a group of friends.

After taking a nap and lunch, we decided to check out the cafe scene in Bali Seminyak since it was nearby, and boy, was I pleased!

Batik Restaurant and Bar

The first place was Batik Restaurant and Bar. This place is so pretty and it looks exactly like the photos I’ve seen online! It’s a Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian Restaurant jumbled all into one, and they serve alcohol too! So.. afternoon drinks it is! The drinks were okay but the ambience really made up for everything. It was in the noon, and there weren’t many people, which made it even better!

It’s a good place to relax and escape from the heat and rest your feet from all the walking.

Mad Pops Bali

Talking about escaping the heat, there’s an amazing organic/vegan ice-cream place right down the road from Batik Restaurant, and this place serves AMAZING ice-cream. If you need an ice-cream fix I would really recommend Mad Pops Bali! It is also highly Instagram-worthy so this would be a great place to get photos for your feed. Millennium pink with neon signs? If that’s your thing, just go for it! #iceicebaby

Coffee Cartel Bali

We decided to visit another cafe before heading to our last place for the day! This time we went to Coffee Cartel Bali! This place is known for the different colored coffees like charcoal coffee, turmeric coffee?! The list goes on! It was a nice place to chill and there were actually people using their laptops here! Nice place to spend the afternoon if you have no plans! Also their tiles are beautiful! Great juices if you’re not a caffeine junkie.

Potato Head Beach Club Bali

The highlight of the day!! Potato Head Beach Club Bali! I’m sure if you were planning to go to Bali, you’d have heard of Potato Head! It’s such a popular place in Bali so I wasn’t planning on leaving without visiting this place! And yes, the vibes were great, there was music, a path leading to the beach where you can view the sunset. The beach was so beautiful and I really recommend you call to reserve seats if you need one! We arrived slightly later and they were tons of people already! Had to make do with the situation, so we stood near the beach to watch the sunset but it was no issue, equally breathtaking.

We had a couple of beers with a view overlooking the pool and that’s when the night truly started at Potato Head!

Oh and guys, we used Grab to move around the city but I would really recommend getting a private car rental because it’s difficult to get Grab in some places. It’s really cheap for a car rental as well, it comes with a driver and everything, we used that on our last day when we went to Ubud!

Hoping to visit Bali again soon! Have you been to Bali before? How was your experience there?
